Triumph Group Inc. Q4 Profit Retreats 24%

(RTTNews) - Triumph Group Inc. (TGI) announced earnings for fourth quarter that dropped compared to the same period last year.

The company said its profit dropped to $65.34 million, or $1.32 per share. This was lower than $85.54 million, or $1.71 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.48 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 1.9% to $1.06 billion. This was down from $1.08 billion last year.
