Trelleborg Updates its Industry-Leading O-Ring Calculator

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions (STO:TRELB), one of the world’s leading developers, manufacturers and suppliers of precision seals and bearings, has updated its much used O-Ring Calculator with a new even easier to use layout and added features.

The most important enhancement is calculation of total compression forces. In addition, there is a differentiation between static and dynamic applications as well as improved file saving options. The calculator also boasts a better user interface, language functionality, flexible choice of systems of units and improved ISO quick search. This means that from now on, calculation files can easily be shared between design engineers from different countries.

By simply entering installation specifications for an application, it recommends O-Ring sizes, housing layout and corresponding part numbers.
