Tredegar Slips To Loss In Q3

(RTTNews) - Tredegar Corp. (TG) reported a net loss of $34.2 million or $1.03 per share in the third quarter of 2018 compared to net income of $8.3 million or $0.25 per share in the third quarter of 2017.

Results for the third quarter of 2018 included a goodwill impairment loss for the Personal Care component of PE Films ($38.2 million after taxes or $1.15 per share).

Net income from ongoing operations was $8.6 million or $0.26 per share in the third quarter of 2018 compared with $9.4 million or $0.28 per share in the third quarter of 2017.

Sales for the quarter grew to $267.29 million from $247.12 million last year.
