Torstar Corporation: Result of Voting for Directors at Annual Meeting of Class A Shareholders

TORONTO, May 8, 2019 /CNW/ - Torstar Corporation announces the results of the vote on the election of directors at its annual meeting of the holders of Class A shares held on May 8, 2019.

Each of the nominees proposed for election as listed in the Corporation's information circular dated March 11, 2019 was elected as a director by a majority of votes cast by a show of hands, without a ballot being conducted.  The Corporation received proxies regarding the election of directors as follows:
