Tom Ridge, First-Ever US Secretary of Homeland Security, to Keynote at Infosecurity
Ridge was sworn into his new cabinet position on October 8, 2001,a few short weeks after the tragic events of September 11. Chargedwith developing and coordinating a comprehensive national strategy tostrengthen protections against terrorist threats or attacks in theUnited States, Ridge set the groundwork and structure for homelandsecurity in place today.
Infosecurity, now in its fifth year, delivers information,education and networking required to build a more secure and compliantinfrastructure. The event, which runs December 6-8, comprises acutting-edge conference program and 150-plus solution providers, andattracts over 3,000 information security professionals.
