Thor Announces Management Promotions and Reorganization for Improved Efficiencies

JACKSON CENTER, Ohio, July 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Thor Industries, Inc. announced today a reorganization of its management team to accelerate its growth and leadership in its two industries.

Richard (Dicky) Riegel, currently President of Airstream, Inc., has been promoted to Group President of Thor with the following recreation vehicle companies reporting to him: Airstream, Thor California, Komfort, CrossRoads, General Coach-Oliver, B.C., General Coach-Hensall, Ontario, and Breckenridge. Since Dicky was named President of Airstream in 2002, the company has more than doubled sales and profits have increased ten fold.

Robert Wheeler has been promoted to President and CEO of Airstream. He has been Airstream's Vice President of Product Development and Engineering, responsible for many new products and helping to drive Airstream's rapid growth. Lawrence J. Huttle continues as Airstream's Chairman and Mark Wahl has been promoted to Airstream's Senior Vice President, Operations.

Michael Stout has been named Vice President of Thor, responsible for a broad array of programs including lean manufacturing, best practices, and quality improvement.

Bette Clark, formerly Director of Purchasing at Four Winds International has been promoted to Director, Thor Purchasing.

Keystone, Four Winds, Dutchmen, Damon, Thor Bus, and Dicky Riegel will continue to report to Wade F. B. Thompson, Thor Chairman.
