The New AOL Rewards American Express(R) Credit Card From MBNA

CHESTER, England, June 4 /PRNewswire/ --

- New Card Provides Access to Rewards and Travel Benefits

AOL today announce the launch of the new AOL Rewards American Express(R) Credit Card from MBNA, giving Cardmembers access to the MBNA Rewards programme, access to the MBNA TravelPlus service and discounts with selected RewardPlus partners.

The new card offers 0 per cent p.a. on balance transfers for the first 12 months from the date the account is opened, plus 0 per cent on card purchases for the first 3 months. After the introductory period the card will revert to a standard typical rate of 15.9% APR (variable).

Cardmembers earn MBNA Rewards Points on card purchases which can be redeemed for a variety of items including; experiences, holidays, shopping vouchers, days and nights out, CDs, DVDs, games and cash. Cardmembers will earn one Reward Point for every GBP1 spent on the card but can earn up to three Reward Points and discounts when shopping with MBNA RewardPlus partners. In addition, if the card is used for retail purchases within the first 90 days of the account being opened the Cardmember will receive 1,600 bonus reward points.

Furthermore, Cardmembers of the AOL Rewards American Express(R) Credit Card from MBNA will have the opportunity to enter prize draws to attend AOL Sessions and O2 Events. AOL Sessions are an opportunity for the biggest stars to perform exclusively for AOL Music. Recorded in a state of the art London studio, AOL Sessions provide music fans with a unique and intimate opportunity of experiencing top music talent. AOL is a founding partner at The O2 and has access to tickets ranging from family events such as Disney on Ice to top sporting and music events.
