The China Fund, Inc. Announces the Adjournment of the Special Stockholders Meeting

NEW YORK, June 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The China Fund, Inc. (NYSE: CHN) (the "Fund") announces today that at its Special Stockholders Meeting held on June 20, 2017, stockholders approved an adjournment of the Meeting to allow additional time to cast votes on the proposed Investment Advisory and Management Agreement and the proposed Direct Investment Management Agreement, each between the Fund and Open Door Investment Management Ltd.

The Special Stockholders Meeting will reconvene on July 25, 2017 at 9:00 AM.
