The "Approved Companies" Announces New General Counsel, Robert Ross

BROOKLYN, N.Y., Jan. 29, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Approved Oil Co., a New York based full service energy company recently announced that Robert Ross has been named General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer.  He will also serve as a member of the company's Executive Committee, a team of the company's most senior leaders.

Robert Ross joined the company at the start of the year and will report directly to Vincent Theurer, the company's President and CEO.  In his new position, Robert will be responsible for managing all legal, regulatory and compliance matters for the Approved Companies.

Robert carries over 15 years of legal and business experience into his new role at Approved.  Most recently, he served as General Counsel at W16 Energy, where his main focus was on legal, compliance and business development matters for the firm.  Robert also previously held positions at Morgan Stanley, the New York-based investment bank, and with KMZ Rosenman, the global law firm.

Robert graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in Political Science, and was awarded both a Juris Doctor and Masters in Real Estate from New York University.
