TELUS Names Doug French To Succeed John Gossling As CFO, With Immediate Effect

(RTTNews) - Canadian telecommunications company TELUS Corp. (TU, T.TO) announced Monday that Doug French has been appointed Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer, effective today. He succeeds John Gossling, who is leaving after three and a half years as TELUS CFO, to seek other opportunities.

Gossling will be working with French through to the end of May to ensure an effective transition of responsibilities.

French holds 30 years of financial management experience and 20 years of career progression within TELUS, including key roles as Controller for the company's largest business units in the business and consumer divisions. More recently, French served as Corporate Controller.
