Tech Data Appoints Dr. Thomas F. Huber Regional Senior Vice President,

    CLEARWATER, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 21, 2005--Tech Data Corporation (NASDAQ:TECD), a leading international distributor of IT products, today appointed Dr. Thomas F. Huber as regional senior vice president, Central Europe. Huber will report to Tech Data's President, Europe, Gerard Youna, and lead the company's operations in Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Switzerland and Austria.
    Huber has extensive sales leadership experience. He most recently was director of consumer products with Accenture, a $13.7 billion global management consulting and technology services company. Huber also served as an independent logistics and marketing consultant for major retail companies throughout eastern and central Europe.
    Prior to his consulting work, Huber was deputy chairman of supervisory boards with Vienna-based Billa/Rewe Group of food retailers. During his 12 years with the company, his responsibilities ranged from oversight of Billa/Rewe's extensive warehousing and logistics operations to leading its sales efforts in 1,800 stores located throughout 10 countries. Huber held several executive leadership positions with Billa/Rewe including chief operating officer and chief financial officer.
