Stored Value Systems Serves up Gift Card Program for Arby's

    Business Editors

BRENTWOOD, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 10, 2005--Stored Value Systems (SVS), Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Brentwood-based Comdata Corporation (NYSE:CEN), has successfully launched a new gift card program for the Arby's(R) System, making it one of the first quick service restaurants to offer its customers an electronic gift card option.
Available now at participating restaurants, customers can purchase gift cards in any amount between $5 and $50. The electronic card replaces the old paper gift certificate program.
"Arby's proves once again to be an industry leader," said Bob Skiba, executive vice president and general manager, Stored Value Systems. "One of the first in the industry, this new gift card will only increase Arby's customer loyalty base as more and more people use electronic gift cards to share the gift of great food."
Lynne Bever, Senior Director of Electronic Payment Programs, Arby's, is confident the new gift card program will benefit customers and restaurants alike across the nation with an easy-to-administer program at the cash register that allows customers to purchase a gift card as quickly as any other transaction.
"The electronic gift card program is an outstanding convenience for our customers as we offer the benefits of technology enjoyed by shoppers in other industries," Bever said. "More importantly, we now have the ability to offer customers what they want, a great meal served up with a great gift-giving opportunity."
