Sterling Bancorp Q3 Earnings Advance 27%

(RTTNews) - Sterling Bancorp (STL) released a profit for its third quarter that increased compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $47.87 million, or $0.35 per share. This was up from $37.79 million, or $0.29 per share, in last year's third quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 13.3% to $138.68 million. This was up from $122.37 million last year.
