Starwood Property Q2 Profit Rises; Backs FY14 EPS Outlook

On an adjusted basis, the company's core earnings totaled $115.2 million or $0.51 per share for the quarter. Revenues for the period amounted to $170.75 million. The company backed its annual core earnings per share guidance in the range of $2.00 - $2.20. Further, the board proposed a dividend of $0.48 per share of common stock for the third quarter, which is payable on October 15, to shareholders of record as of September 30.
