Sprint Reportedly Plans T-Mobile Bid - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Wireless carrier Sprint Corp (S) is planning to push forward with a bid for T-Mobile US Inc (TMUS) after meeting with banks last month, the Bloomberg reported, citing people with knowledge of the situation.

Masayoshi Son, the billionaire Chief Executive Officer of Japan's SoftBank Corp. (SFTBF.PK), is expected to make a formal offer in June or July, the report stated.

Sprint Chief Financial Officer Joe Euteneuer and Treasurer Greg Block met with six banks to ensure the lenders would be ready with financing when Sprint decides to make an offer, the report added, citing three unidentified people.
