Spirent Communications CEO Bill Burns Steps Down - Quick Facts
(RTTNews) - Spirent Communications Plc. (SPT.L, SPM), a communications technology company, Tuesday said that Bill Burns, Chief Executive Officer, would step down from the Board and leave the company with immediate effect.
Eric Hutchinson, Chief Financial Officer, will become Chief Executive Officer while continuing to oversee the finance team. Burns will assist with making a smooth transition.
The Board, with a view to the long term, will in due course retain consultants to undertake the search for a new Chief Executive Officer.
Burns will receive payment as per his contractual arrangements.
