Spectra Energy Q1 Profit Down - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Spectra Energy Corp (SE) reported first quarter 2015 net income from controlling interests of $267 million or $0.40 per share, down from $419 million or $0.62 per share in first quarter 2014.

Ongoing net income from controlling interests was $274 million or $0.41 per share, compared with $419 million or $0.62 per share in first quarter 2014. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.42 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
