Sohu.com Q2 Loss Widens - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - China's Sohu.com Inc. (SOHU), an online media, search, gaming, community and mobile service group, Monday posted a wider loss for the second quarter, with a decline in revenues, hurt by lower online game revenues.

The Group's net loss totaled $63.02 million or $1.64 per share, wider than last year's $27.2 million or $0.71 per share loss. on a non-GAAP basis, net loss was $63 million, or $1.62 per share.

Total revenues for the quarter slid 15 percent to $420.1 million. Total online advertising revenues, which include revenues from the brand advertising and search and search-related businesses, were down 5 percent, and Online game revenues fell 42 percent.

Looking ahead to the third quarter, the company projects loss per share in the range of $2.60-$2.85, and non-GAAP loss per share of $2.35-$2.60, on revenues of $400 million-$430 million.
