Smith & Wesson Names Elizabeth Sharp as Vice President Investor Relati

SPRINGFIELD, Mass., May 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Smith & Wesson Holding Corp. , parent company of Smith & Wesson Corp., the legendary 153-year old firearms maker, announced today that it has named Elizabeth A. Sharp to fill the newly created position of Vice President of Investor Relations. Sharp, who is based in Arizona, will be responsible for all investor relations functions including communications with shareholders, security analysts, the financial community and financial media.

Sharp has amassed 20 years of experience in corporate communications and investor relations, most recently as Vice President of Corporate Relations for Three-Five Systems, Inc. , a multi-national company providing a broad range of electronics manufacturing services including printed circuit board assembly, display integration, and box build. During Sharp's tenure, TFS expanded its operations to include several locations in the United States and Europe as well as in Malaysia, China, and the Philippines. At TFS, Sharp was responsible for investor relations, public relations, marketing communications, media relations, advertising and customer relationship management.

Sharp received her bachelor's degree and masters in business administration from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. She is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
