Seymour Schulich increases Pengrowth Ownership to 165,000,000 shares

TORONTO, May 15, 2019 /CNW/ - Seymour Schulich announced today that, through recent open market purchases, he has increased his ownership of Pengrowth Energy Corporation (TSX: PGF) and now owns or controls 165,000,000 shares of Pengrowth's issued and outstanding common shares. 

Mr. Schulich's ownership interest is principally held through Mr. Schulich's wholly owned investment company, Nevada Capital Corporation Limited and through The Schulich Foundation where Mr. Schulich is the President and Lead Director. Both entities maintain their head offices at 20 Eglinton Avenue West, Suite 1900, Toronto, Ontario, M4R 1K8.

Mr. Schulich's current shareholdings represent 29.7% of the currently issued and outstanding common shares of Pengrowth.  Mr. Schulich further advises that the shares have been acquired for investment purposes at this time.
