Sensata Technologies Q3 Profit Up, Meets Estimates

(RTTNews) - Sensata Technologies Holding N.V. (ST) said its net income for the third quarter rose to $66.0 million or $0.37 a share from last year's $41.5 million or $0.23 a share.

Adjusted earnings for the quarter were $0.55 per share. On average, twelve analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.55 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Net revenues for the third quarter grew 5.7 percent to $498.9 million. Analysts expected revenues of $496.25 million for the quarter.

For the fourth quarter, the company expects adjusted earnings per share of $0.53 - $0.57, on revenues of $485 million - $505 million. The Street expects the company to report earnings per share of $0.57, on revenue of $504.67 million.
