Sealed Air Corp. Q3 Profit Climbs 28%

(RTTNews) - Sealed Air Corp. (SEE) released earnings for its third quarter that climbed compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $143.2 million, or $0.70 per share. This was higher than $112.1 million, or $0.53 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.57 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 10.7% to $1.75 billion. This was down from $1.96 billion last year.
