Science Applications Q3 Profit Tops View - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Science Applications International Corp (SAIC), a provider of technical, engineering and enterprise IT solutions, Tuesday reported third-quarter net earnings of $37 million or $0.77 per share, compared to $22 million or $0.44 per share in the comparable quarter last year.

Total revenues for the latest third quarter were $1.00 billion, compared with $1.01 billion in the prior year.

On average, five analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.74 per share on revenues of $971.20 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Subsequent to quarter end, the Board of Directors declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.28 per share payable on January 30, 2015 to stockholders of record on January 15, 2015.
