SCANA Posts Flat Q4 EPS; Announces 2015 Outlook - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - South Carolina-based SCANA Corp. (SCG) posted almost flat earnings of $105 million for the fourth quarter of 2014, compared with last year, with quarterly earnings per share unchanged at $0.73. On average, six analysts polled by Thomson-Reuters estimated the company's earnings to be $0.73 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude one-time items.

Total operating revenues were $1.21 billion in the quarter, compared with the year-ago figure of $1.12 billion. Three analysts projected revenues of $1.07 billion for the quarter.

For 2015, the company expects GAAP-adjusted earnings per share to be $3.60 to $3.80, with an internal target of $3.70 per share. The firm's average annual growth rate target for GAAP-adjusted earnings per share is 3 to 6 percent over the next 3 to 5 years. SCANA is resetting its base year to 2014 GAAP adjusted weather normalized earnings per share of $3.58.
