SAVVIS Teams With HP To Power The Sundance Institute; Joint Media Services Enabled End-To-End Workflow Solution Ranging From Content Submission, Manipulation, and Management, To Streaming Distribution

The agreement is another example in a long relationship between SAVVIS and HP through which the two companies are developing next-generation media services. Other HP and SAVVIS joint projects include the International Emmys, where SAVVIS' global network enabled the secure, high performance online distribution of full motion video of all the entries for viewing by 500 judges located around the world. With this solution, the Academy avoided the time and expense of producing and shipping hundreds of tapes in multiple formats to locations around the world.
