Sanofi-aventis Canada Inc. Licenses I-many ContractSphere to Manage Complex Pharmaceutical Contracts

I-many, Inc. (NASDAQ:IMNY), a leading provider of contract management software and services for the enterprise, today announced that sanofi-aventis Canada Inc. ("sanofi-aventis Canada”) has signed an agreement with I-many to license the latest generation of I-many’s contract management suite of products.

The license agreement and associated maintenance and support contract include products from across the suite of I-many’s ContractSphere including I-many Contract Analytics, I-many Contract Manager, I-many CARS^®, I-many Government Pricing, and I-many CARS Business Intelligence. The combination of these products will put sanofi-aventis Canada in the position to manage the entire contracting process from pre-deal analytics through offer development, negotiation, execution, adjudication, post-deal analysis and renewal. Sanofi-aventis Canada has also contracted with I-many to perform the professional service installation.

Sanofi-aventis Canada is the first company to license I-many Contract Analytics, the newest product in I-many’s ContractSphere^® suite. I-many Contract Analytics was announced in October, along with the full ContractSphere suite, as a response to the Life Science industry’s growing need to provide consistent key performance indicators across products and segments.

Furthermore, I-many Contract Manager played a key role in sanofi-aventis Canada’s choice of I-many’s solutions, as the product will become the central repository for all contracts of sanofi-aventis Canada. The centralized repository will enable sanofi-aventis Canada to manage the core contracting functionality across all commercial contracting operations. Contract Manager will help to ensure process and pricing policy compliance across the company and enhance audit trail capability throughout the life-cycle of every contract.
