Sanmina Q3 Profit Rises - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Sanmina Corp. (SANM), Monday reported third-quarter net income of $18.7 million or $0.22 per share, compared to $8.9 million or $0.11 per share last year.

Adjusted net income for the third quarter was $34.0 million or $0.40 per share, compared to $21.9 million or $0.26 per share last year. On average, nine analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.35 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Net sales for the quarter dropped to $1.49 billion from $1.55 billion last year. Analysts estimated revenues of $1.48 billion for the period.
