SAIC Wins $485 Mln Contract From NASA - Quick Facts
(RTTNews) - Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) said that NASA has awarded it a $485 million contract to provide all services necessary to operate the NASA Enterprise Applications Competency Center or NEACC located at Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama.
Under the Enterprise Applications Service Technologies or EAST 2 contract, SAIC will provide services to operate, maintain, and enhance key business and mission-supporting platforms, applications and infrastructure used across the agency.
The contract has a two-year base period of performance, a two-year option, a one-year option, and three one-year award term options. Included in the award is an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity feature to provide application service support to additional NASA centers. The period of performance will begin February 1 with a potential end date of March 31, 2024.
The EAST 2 contract will be administered by the NASA Shared Services Center or NSSC at the agency's Stennis Space Center in Mississippi. The NSSC performs selected business activities for all NASA centers.
