Sacramento's #1 Sports Bar Is Serving Up A Fresh New Menu

SACRAMENTO, Calif., July 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Bisla's Sports Bar is redefining its traditional pub fare with the release of a new menu and lunch service featuring "Sacramento Style" Pittsburgh sandwiches and an overall dedication to fresh ingredients. Join us on Thursday, July 25 from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for our release party, a hosted sampling of our new menu, and beer education by Rubicon Brewery.

"Our goal with the new menu is to maintain our original crowd favorites such as Bisla's House Wings and Sliders while adding new items that are not typically found in Sacramento," said Co-Owner, Ray Lettini.

Two of those less than likely Sacramento finds are Bisla's new "Sacramento Style" Pittsburgh sandwiches and 100 year old family recipe for homemade Italian sausages.

"Our Italian sausage recipe can actually be traced back to my family's roots in Sicily, it is a 100 year old family recipe that I am proud to make fresh daily," said Co-Owner, Gino Sardo.

The sandwiches, named after local athletic teams and area favorites, come loaded with fresh cut fries, Bisla's House Slaw, onions, and thick cut tomatoes to go along with a great selection of meat and cheese choices.

"A majority of our meats (for the Pittsburgh sandwiches) are hand carved and slow roasted in house," said Jacob Carriker, General Manager. "From the fresh cut pub chips and French fries to from scratch sauces, Bisla's is changing the way it does food."

Since 2009 Bisla's has been a favorite watering hole for Sacramento State students, local businesses and surrounding neighborhoods; voted Sacramento's #1 Sports Bar by KCRA A-List voters in 2011, 2012 and 2013. Bisla's looks to continue the tradition of Sacramento's #1 Sports Bar while increasing our emphasis on fresh, quality pub fare in an inventive west coast style.
