Roper Technologies Q4 Profit Increases, Expects FY16, Q1 Below View

(RTTNews) - Roper Technologies Inc. (ROP) Monday announced an increase in fourth quarter net income to $208.59 million from $185.94 million last year. On a per share basis, earnings were $2.05 compared to $1.84 in the prior year. Adjusted earnings per share were $1.82.

On average, 11 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $1.87 per share. Analysts estimates usually exclude special items.

Net sales for the quarter were slightly down at $943.64 million from $946.15 million in the previous year. Adjusted revenue was $948 million. Wall Street expects $960.61 million.

Looking ahead to the fiscal 2016, the company expects adjusted earnings per share to be between $6.85 to $7.15. Analysts expects $7.43 per share.

For the first quarter Roper Technologies expect between $1.42 to $1.47 per share. Street outlook is $1.71 per share.
