Rockefeller Group Expands To Mid-Atlantic With Appointment Of Hilary Allard Goldfarb As Regional Development Officer
WASHINGTON, March 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Rockefeller Group today announced its expansion to the Mid-Atlantic region with the hiring of Hilary Allard Goldfarb as Senior Vice President and Regional Development Officer. She is based in the firm's recently established Washington, D.C., office.
Ms. Goldfarb will lead the company's Mid-Atlantic Region, with primary responsibility for growing the company's development portfolio through the sourcing of multifamily, office and mixed-use projects, adding to the company's current development pipeline of approximately 17 million square feet.
The announcement follows Rockefeller Group's 2017 joint venture agreement with The Meridian Group to co-develop Boro Tower, a 437,000-square-foot trophy office building in Tysons, Va.
"We are thrilled to have Hilary as the leader of our Mid-Atlantic Region," said Daniel Moore, Rockefeller Group's head of Urban Development, who was recently named President and CEO effective April 1, 2018. "She's an accomplished and experienced real estate professional with extensive knowledge of the metro D.C. market. Her market insight, development experience and deep relationships will be invaluable as we continue to grow our business in Washington, D.C., and beyond."
According to Ms. Goldfarb, "Rockefeller Group is a highly regarded and respected organization, with a strong national development platform that I look forward to representing and growing in the Mid-Atlantic."
Ms. Goldfarb was previously a Senior Vice President with Bozzuto Development Company, where she directed the development process for multifamily and mixed-use projects throughout the Baltimore-Washington region. She was responsible for all aspects of development, from acquisitions, financing and entitlements, to overseeing construction and lease-up.
Prior to joining Bozzuto, Ms. Goldfarb was Development Director at ProMark Real Estate, where she led development services for the company's commercial portfolio, including negotiating entitlements and financing, securing public approvals and performing due diligence on acquisitions in Washington, D.C. and Maryland. She also spent four years at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., during a capital campaign to build a Frank Gehry-designed expansion, and has worked on economic development initiatives.
Ms. Goldfarb has a master's degree in Urban Planning from Harvard's Graduate School of Design and a bachelor's degree from Princeton University.
