Rock-Tenn Company Announces Dividend

    NORCROSS, Ga.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 28, 2005--Rock-Tenn Company (NYSE: RKT) today reported that its Board of Directors declared a dividend of $0.09 per share on its Class A Common Stock to shareholders of record at the close of business on February 8, 2005. The dividend, which will be paid on February 21, 2005, represents an annual dividend rate of $0.36 per share.
    Rock-Tenn Company provides marketing and packaging solutions to consumer products companies at low costs, with annual net sales of $1.6 billion and over 80 operating locations in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Chile.
