RingCentral Q1 Loss Widens

(RTTNews) - RingCentral Inc. (RNG) reported first-quarter net loss of $12.9 million, wider than $10.3 million in the comparable quarter last year. Loss per share for the latest first quarter narrowed to $0.20 from $0.45 last year.

Non-GAAP net loss narrowed to $0.15 per share from $0.40 per share last year. On average, seven analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.16 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues rose 36% to $48.26 million from $35.53 million last year. Analysts expected revenues of $47.05 million.
