Richard Ebner Joins Octagon 88 Resources As Director & Vice-President Of Finance & Investments
Octagon 88 Resources Inc., (OCTX) announced the appointment of Richard Ebner (56) , a former vice president of Swiss Based Clariden Leu in Private Banking for Turkey. Mr.Ebner has been a senior director for financial institutions since 1992 and will be responsible for Octagon 88's near-future financial planning and management. Additionally, Ebner will support strategic planning and participate in acquisition and growth opportunities to support Octagon 88's overall business objectives.
Richard Ebner holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Fribourg and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of St.Gallen. He currently serves as Director of Dr.Blumer and Partners and is an active member of several other asset management related organisations and global oil commodity trading companies.
The Company believes Mr.Ebner´s involvement will assist Octagon 88 in growing substantially to the next stage of development, by adding twenty years of senior experience in the finance and banking industry to its Management Board.

In 2012 / 2013 Octagon 88 Resources, Inc. acquired substantial light and conventional heavy oil assets in Northern Alberta. The acquired projects have been substantially de-risked which leads the company to emerge as a development stage oil and gas company as of January 22, 2013. The company’s intention is to grow shareholder value through mergers and acquisitions opportunities available to the company.
The current program schedule entails working with the operator of these properties to bring on production and cash flow through the company’s direct working interests, and indirect investments spread throughout the projects.
