RFID Solutions Vendor RF Code Names Robert Hart Vice President of Operations

MESA, Ariz., Jan. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- RF Code, Inc., a leading developer of RFID asset tracking solutions, today announced the appointment of Robert Hart as the company's vice president of operations.

Prior to joining RF Code, Mr. Hart served as senior vice president of operations at RFID technology vendor Matrics, Inc., now part of Symbol Technologies, Inc. , where his accomplishments included redefining the company's outsourcing strategy, establishing the purchasing organization and increasing daily product shipments by 40%.

Over the past decade, Mr. Hart held executive positions at Symbol Technologies, Inc., including vice president of quality and vice president of manufacturing. In these roles, he managed Symbol's factory in Reynosa, Mexico and the organization's key contract manufacturers in Mexico, China, Japan, Singapore, Korea and the United States. Mr. Hart began his career at Bell Laboratories and AT&T and went on to serve in various manufacturing, material engineering and quality assurance roles during a distinguished 30-year career there. He led both AT&T Power Systems (1991) and Symbol Technologies (2003) in achieving the 'Shingo Prize for Excellence in Manufacturing' award, which promotes awareness of lean manufacturing concepts and recognizes companies in the United States, Canada, and Mexico that achieve world-class manufacturing status.
