Retail Opportunity FFO Rises

(RTTNews) - Retail Opportunity Investments Corp. (ROIC) Monday reported fourth-quarter funds from operations, or FFO, of $16.4 million or $0.21 per share. This compares with FFO of $8.5 million or $0.15 per share a year ago.

Net earnings for the quarter were $3.8 million or $0.05 per share compared with loss of $278 thousand or $0.01 per share a year ago.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.05 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues for the quarter climbed to $33.6 million from $22.4 million last year, while analysts estimated $28.75 million.

For 2014, the company expects FFO of $0.80 to $0.85 per share and earnings of $0.16 to $0.17 per share. Analysts project earnings of $0.28 per share.
