Republic Airways June Traffic, Capacity Down - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Republic Airways Holdings (RJET) reported that its traffic in June 2013 declined 4% from June 2012, on a capacity decrease of 5%.

The airline said its June 2013 traffic slip 4% to 1.79 billion revenue passenger miles or RPMs from 1.86 billion RPMs in the same period last year.

The airline's June 2013 capacity was 2.05 billion available seat miles or ASMs, down 5% from 2.17 billion ASMs in the prior year period.

Block hours were 4% greater than the same period in 2012. Consolidated load factor increased one point to 87% from June 2012.

The airline carried 2.8 million passengers in June, a 4% increase from the prior year.
