Raptor Pharma Loss Narrower Than Estimates; Reaffirms FY Guidance

(RTTNews) - Raptor Pharmaceutical Corp (RPTP) on Thursday reported second-quarter net loss of $13.9 million or $0.17 per share compared with a loss of $12.7 million or $0.20 per share last year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated a loss of $0.21 per share for the quarter.

Excluding items, the company reported adjusted loss of $0.12 per share compared with a loss of $0.15 per share a year ago.

Revenues for the quarter were up at $23.3 million compared with $16.3 million in the prior year.

Analysts estimated revenues of $21.4 million for the quarter.

For the full year 2015, Raptor reiterates the sales guidance for its key nephropathic cystinosis drug Procysbi of $80 million to $90 million. Analysts expect sales of $90.8 million.
