RapidSwitch offers Cisco ASA 5500-X Series Next-Generation Firewalls

Customers of dedicated server hosting brand RapidSwitch, part of award-winning UK cloud company Iomart Group plc, can now take advantage of Cisco^® ASA 5500-X Series Next-Generation Firewalls for comprehensive security without compromise.

Through an array of integrated cloud and software based security services these next generation firewalls add capabilities such as Application Visibility and Control (AVC), Web Security Essentials (WSE) and Intrusion Prevention (IPS) with no need for additional hardware modules resulting in end-to-end network intelligence and streamlined security operations.

The full suite of Cisco ASA 5500-X firewalls is available through the RapidSwitch website including the 5512-X which is fully gigabit capable without the need for the Security Plus license upgrade; as well as the 5515-X which comes as standard with the Security Plus license and is available as a high-availability pair for complete redundancy.
