Rackspace Hosting Q4 Profit Rises

(RTTNews) - Rackspace Hosting, Inc. (RAX) Tuesday reported fourth-quarter net income of $36.9 million or $0.26 per share, up from $20.8 million or $0.14 per share last year.

Revenues for the quarter rose to $472.4 million from $408.1 million last year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.19 per share on revenues of $473.98 million for the quarter.

For the first quarter, Rackspace expects revenues of $477 million to $484 million. Analysts currently estimate revenues of $490.5 million for the quarter.

For the full year 2015, Rackspace expects revenues of $2.0 billion to $2.1 billion. Analysts currently estimate revenues of $2.08 billion for the quarter.
