Qwest Shows Customers Best-in-Class Disaster Recovery and Risk-Management Practices

Qwest Communications International Inc. (NYSE: Q) todayannounced a series of seminars that offer business customersbest-in-class disaster recovery and risk-management practices. TheRisk Management and Disaster Recovery seminar will focus oninformation technology themes for 2006 related to data managementtechniques, risk assessment, recovery challenges and best practicesand strategies for operational recovery.

Studies have shown that almost one-third of companies world-widehave no formal plans protecting them against natural and manmadedisasters, and even if a company has a disaster recovery plan inplace, it is often out-of-date and not tested regularly. During theseminars, Qwest explores top issues facing customers and helps themevaluate their preparedness in the event of an operational disruption.
