Questar Posts Q3 Loss - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Questar Corp. (STR) Wednesday reported third-quarter loss of $19.2 million or $0.11 per share, compared to a profit of $33.8 million or $0.19 per share in the same period last year.

Adjusted earnings for the quarter was $33.2 million or $0.19 per share. On average, six analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.18 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues increased to $149.6 million from $141.8 million last year. Analysts expected revenues of $198.41 million.

Looking ahead, Questar management has tightened its full-year 2013 adjusted earnings outlook to a new range of $1.16 to $1.20 per share, up from its prior target of $1.12 to $1.20 per share. Analysts currently expect full-year earnings of $1.19 per share.
