Quest Software’s The Experts Conference 2011 Soars into the Cloud as Sessions and Speakers Are Announced

Quest Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: QSFT) today announced speaker and session lineups for The Experts Conference (TEC) 2011. For the first time in the event’s 10-year history, TEC 2011 will include a virtualization and cloud conference featuring cutting-edge knowledge transfer on both desktop and server virtualization, and cloud computing. TEC 2011 will be held at the Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa in Las Vegas, April 17–20. Registration is now open for this 400-level training event focused on advancing the skills of the most experienced users of Microsoft® Directory & Identity, Exchange Server, and SharePoint® technologies.

The TEC for Virtualization & Cloud agenda will dive deep into today’s hottest technology, with 400-level sessions from expert speakers covering everything from server and desktop management to data protection and real-life case studies. Veteran TEC presenters Guido Grillenmeier of HP and Rob Nottoli of Microsoft will help launch the new event, along with virtualization guru Scott Herold of Quest.

TEC 2011 for Directory & Identity will provide advanced education on business-critical identity and access management (IAM) technologies including Active Directory®, Forefront™ Identity Manager and Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS). Veteran Microsoft speakers Dean Wells, Brian Puhl, and Laura Hunter; Edgile’s Craig Martin; and Pamela Dingle of Ping Identity will return to the event in 2011.

TEC has developed a world-class reputation for providing the most deep technical Exchange training available in any conference in the world. Attendees will benefit from deep dives into all aspects of Microsoft Exchange including transport, storage, high availability, disaster recovery, archiving, and client access. Hand-selected speakers from the best-of-the-best inside Microsoft include Ross Smith IV, David Espinoza, Greg Taylor, Scott Schnoll, and Ilse Van Criekinge.

TEC for SharePoint will feature expert speakers from the industry and Microsoft, who will share powerful tips and techniques for executing a successful migration, as well as best practices for SharePoint 2010. Veteran speakers include Dux Raymond Sy of Innovative-e and Ram Gopinathan of Microsoft. Shadeed Eleazar of Planet Technologies, Fabian Williams of CDW Advanced Technology Services and Tobias Zimmergren of Tozit will join the veteran crew at the 2011 event.

Attendees at all four conferences will have extensive opportunities to network with other industry experts, as well as members of the various product teams from Microsoft. Full speaker and session information can be found at www.theexpertsconference.com.

"For 10 years, we have delivered world-class training to the world’s top IT pros, creating an atmosphere of peer networking that can’t be beat at any event, anywhere,” said Gil Kirkpatrick, Quest chief architect and conference founder. "As we open registration for our tenth annual event, I am very proud that the conference not only continues to meet its original charter of experts teaching experts, but also has expanded to meet the changing technology training needs of the marketplace with the introduction of our first ever TEC for Virtualization & Cloud.”

TEC is presented by Quest and Microsoft. The conferences are offered on a tiered pricing schedule that includes all food, beverages and conference materials.
