Quest Diagnostics Reveals 4% Gain In Q1 Earnings
(RTTNews) - Quest Diagnostics (DGX) reported earnings for its first quarter that increased from last year.
The company said its bottom line totaled $147 million, or $1.12 per share. This was higher than $141 million, or $1.05 per share, in last year's first quarter.
Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.12 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
The company said revenue for the quarter rose 1.1% to $1.86 billion. This was up from $1.84 billion last year.
