Quest Diagnostics Q3 adjusted earnings of $1.68 per share

(RTTNews) - Quest Diagnostics (DGX) revealed earnings for its third quarter that increased from last year.

The company's earnings came in at $213 million, or $1.53 per share. This compares with $161 million, or $1.15 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Excluding items, Quest Diagnostics reported adjusted earnings of $215 million or $1.68 per share for the period.

The company's revenue for the quarter rose 1.6% to $1.89 billion from $1.86 billion last year.
