Zurich, 13 February 2014 - At the next Annual General Meeting, the Board of Directors will propose the election of Roland Abt and Urs Riedener to the board of Conzzeta AG, in addition to the candidature of Ernst Bärtschi, as already announced. Thomas Bechtler is not standing for re-election after 27 years' service.

Roland Abt (56) is CFO of the industrial group Georg Fischer AG (Schaffhausen) and has extensive experience in finance. After holding a number of leading positions in the construction materials industry, including postings to South America, he joined the Georg Fischer Group in 1995. Initially serving as CFO of two divisions, he became CFO of the whole internationally active group in 2004. Roland Abt gained a doctorate in business administration at the University of St. Gallen. He is a member of the Regulatory Board and the Issuers Committee of SIX Swiss Exchange.

Urs Riedener (48) is CEO of the Emmi Group (Lucerne). During his career, he has gained in-depth knowledge of brand management and the retail trade. He began his professional life at Jacobs Suchard, before moving to Lindt & Sprüngli and later the Federation of Migros Cooperatives, where he was most recently head of marketing and a member of the Executive Board. In 2008, he was appointed chief executive of the globally active dairy group Emmi. Urs Riedener graduated in business administration from the University of St. Gallen. He is on the executive committees at the Swiss Marketing Association and Promarca, the Swiss branded goods association.

The election of Roland Abt and Urs Riedener is scheduled for Conzzeta AG's Annual General Meeting on 29 April.

Thomas Bechtler will step down from the Board of Directors at the 2014 Annual General Meeting. For 27 years, his knowledge of industry and real estate has been a valuable asset for the company's management. His often unconventional ideas provided inspiring suggestions on numerous occasions. The Board of Directors wishes to thank him for his many years of dedicated service on behalf of Conzzeta.
