Premier Truck Group Celebrates First Annual Top Tech Competition

DALLAS, Dec. 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Premier Truck Group has completed its inaugural Top Tech Event naming Chip Stanesic and Daniel Johnson as winners.  These technicians emerged as victors from over two hundred Premier Truck Group technicians from the United States and Canada. 

All of the company's technicians were eligible to compete in one of two categories:

• Expert – Technicians with five or more years of Freightliner experience
• Professional – Technicians with one to five years of Freightliner experience

The competition included a one-hundred question written examination with the ten highest-scoring technicians advancing to the "hands-on challenge" held at Universal Technical Institute in Irving, Texas.  Vendors and sponsors designed "real-world" technical challenges measuring each finalist's diagnosis, troubleshooting and repair skills in a timed competitive event.

Winners Chip Stanesic and Daniel Johnson, both from Dallas, Texas, were honored at the Gaylord Texan, an upscale hotel and resort in Grapevine, Texas.
