Pre-market Movers For May 11 (DISH, ACT, ZU, DF, ROSE, HLT)

(RTTNews) - Gainers:

Dish Network Corp. (DISH) is gaining two-tenths of a percent to $67.00. The company's first quarter profit doubled from last year, despite a drop in pay-tv subscribers. Earnings per share for the quarter came above Street view, while revenues missed the consensus estimate.

Actavis plc (ACT) is up nearly 3 percent to $301.00. The company's first quarter adjusted earnings per share topped Street view, while it slipped to a loss on a GAAP basis. Net revenues for the quarter surged 59 percent.

Zulily, Inc. (ZU) is gaining 21 percent to $16.07 based on the news that Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba Group Holding Ltd (BABA) has bought $56.2 million of company's stock. The purchase has raised Alibaba's holding in Zulily to 9.3 percent or 11 million shares.

Dean Foods Co. (DF) is up 7 percent to $17.44. The company's first quarter net loss widened from the year-ago quarter, impacted by a non-cash charge related to the impairment of certain of intangible assets. Net sales declined but topped the consensus estimate. The company also guided second quarter adjusted earnings per share above Street view.

Rosetta Resources, Inc. (ROSE) is rising 32 percent to $25.55. Noble Energy, Inc. (NBL) has agreed to acquire all of the common stock of Rosetta in an all-stock transaction valued at $2.1 billion, plus the assumption of net debt of $1.8 billion. Rosetta shareholders will receive 0.542 of a share of Noble Energy common stock for each share of Rosetta common stock held.

Decliners:

Hilton Worldwide Holdings Inc. (HLT) is falling 1 percent to $29.70 based on the news that certain selling stockholders affiliated with The Blackstone Group L.P. have commenced a secondary offering of 90 million shares of the company's common stock.
