Pre-market Movers For Feb 20 (FB, WMT, TSLA, RPTP, BBRY, CONN, ONTX)

(RTTNews) - Gainers:

Tesla Motors, Inc. (TSLA) is rising nearly 12 percent to $216.26. The company's fourth quarter net loss narrowed from the previous year period, while its adjusted earnings per share topped Wall Street view. Adjusted revenue topped the consensus estimate. The company expects to deliver over 35,000 Model S vehicles in 2014, representing a 55 percent increase over 2013.

Raptor Pharmaceuticals Corp. (RPTP) is gaining 32 percent to $19.68. The company announced top line results from a planned 18 month analysis of an ongoing 3 year Phase 2/3 clinical trial of RP103 (delayed-release cysteamine)for the potential treatment of Huntington's disease in collaboration with the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire d'Angers. Analysis of all 96 patients enrolled in the trial showed a positive trend towards slower progression of Total Motor Score in patients treated with RP103 vs. those patients on placebo, the primary endpoint of the study.

BlackBerry Ltd. (BBRY) is up 5 percent to $9.48.

Decliners:

Facebook, Inc. (FB) is down 2 percent to $66.82. The social networking giant has agreed to acquire WhatsApp, a cross-platform mobile messaging company, for approximately $16 billion, including $4 billion in cash and approximately $12 billion in stock. The agreement also provides for an additional $3 billion in restricted stock units to be granted to WhatsApp's founders and employees. WhatsApp co-founder and CEO Jan Koum will join Facebook's board.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (WMT) is falling 2 percent to $73.30. The company's fourth quarter earnings declined from the year-ago quarter. Walmart U.S. net sales rose 2.4 percent, while comp sales edged down 0.4 percent. The company forecast first-quarter and fiscal 2015 earnings per share below analysts' expectations. Separately, the retailer also announced that it is significantly accelerating its capital plan for U.S. small store format openings for the current fiscal year.

Conns Inc. (CONN) is plunging 37 percent to $35.00. The company expects fourth quarter earnings below Street view. The company also lowered its fiscal 2015 earnings guidance to reflect the impact of higher-than-anticipated recent delinquency rates and lower expected sales increases, principally in the electronics category.

Onconova Therapeutics, Inc. (ONTX) is plunging 40 percent to $8.20 following the news that the Phase 3 ONTIME trial of intravenous (IV) rigosertib in patients with higher risk myelodysplastic syndromes, who had progressed on, failed or relapsed after prior therapy with hypomethylating agents, did not meet the primary endpoint of overall survival compared to best supportive care.
