Powerwave Technologies France SAS Joins French Ministry of Defense National Defense Partnership

Powerwave Technologies France SAS is now an official National Defense Partner of the French Ministry of Defense. The new partnership was formally announced at a press event on December 9, 2010 at the Ministry of Defense in Paris.

The event was attended by more than 100 people including four high ranking officials from the French Ministry of Defense, including Lieutenant General Dary, Military Governor of Paris Lieutenant General (Air Force) Jarry, Joint Reserve Coordinator at the Joint Staff Lieutenant General Bazin, Central Director of the Joint Defense Infrastructure Network and Information System Directorate Brigadier General Tavernier, Secretary General of the Higher Council for the Reserve.

Also in attendance were many executives representing France’s major telecommunications operators and suppliers, as well as key members of Powerwave’s executive team, including Ronald J. Buschur, president and chief executive officer, Marvin MaGee, chief operating officer, and Philippe Jardin, French regional director who will serve as Powerwave’s French liaison with the Ministry of Defense.
